1) Quick summary
ProxyMTG sells proxy / playtest cards intended for casual play and playtesting, not sanctioned tournaments.
Do not use ProxyMTG to deceive anyone or to pass proxies off as authentic cards. We can refuse or cancel orders that look like that’s the goal.
We print to order. That means custom products, and returns are limited to what’s described in our Refund & Returns Policy.
Shipping timelines are estimates. See our Shipping Policy for the most current expectations.
If you want the full details (and you do, because that’s what this page is), keep reading.
2) Agreement to these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of proxymtg.com (the “Site”) and any purchases, products, or services offered through it (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
3) Who we are and how to contact us
ProxyMTG
3101 NE Doyle Dr, Bentonville AR 72712
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 720-803-1314
4) Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have permission from a parent/guardian) to place an order.
If you create an account, you agree to:
provide accurate information,
keep your login credentials secure, and
accept responsibility for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
5) What ProxyMTG sells (and what it’s for)
ProxyMTG produces proxy / playtest cards intended for:
playtesting decks,
casual play where proxies are accepted, and
protecting expensive originals while still playing with functional game pieces.
Not for sanctioned events. ProxyMTG products are not authorized tournament cards and are not intended for sanctioned Magic: The Gathering events (where authentic cards are typically required except for limited judge-issued proxy situations during an event).
No deception. You agree not to use ProxyMTG products (or customization features) to misrepresent a proxy as an authentic card or to enable counterfeiting.
6) Customization and “no counterfeiting” rules
If you use custom backs, custom art, or other customization options, you must follow our Customization Rules. In plain terms:
Customization must not be used to deceive anyone.
We may reject, modify, or cancel orders that appear intended to imitate authenticity, bypass checks, or create “undetectable” cards.
We can request revisions (for example, clearer “PROXY/PLAYTEST” marking) or refuse an order if we believe it increases the risk of deception.
7) Orders, pricing, and payment
Order acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, reject, cancel, or limit quantities at our discretion (including after checkout) for reasons like:
suspected fraud,
policy violations (including deceptive intent),
pricing or listing errors,
inventory/production constraints, or
legal compliance concerns.
Pricing and taxes
Prices are shown at checkout and may change without notice. You are responsible for applicable taxes, shipping fees, and (if applicable) customs duties/fees.
Payment processing
Payments are handled through third-party payment processors. You authorize us (and our processors) to charge your payment method for your order.
8) Print-on-demand reality (what to expect)
ProxyMTG prints most items to order. Print-on-demand can include normal, minor variation across runs (for example: tiny shifts in color tone or alignment within reasonable production tolerances). We aim for clean, readable results designed for sleeved play.
We do not guarantee:
perfect matching to authentic cards across every run,
“indistinguishable” results, or
any outcome intended to facilitate deception.
9) Shipping, delivery, and risk of loss
Shipping methods, production timing, transit estimates, and tracking behavior are described in our Shipping Policy. Those timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Address responsibility
You are responsible for entering a correct shipping address. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. Once an order is in production or shipped, changes may not be possible.
Risk of loss
Risk of loss typically transfers to you once the package is handed to the carrier, except where prohibited by law. If something goes wrong, we’ll review the situation under our Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy.
10) Returns, refunds, and chargebacks
Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.
Because we print to order, most orders are not returnable for preference reasons. If we made an error or the shipment arrives damaged, we’ll work with you to fix it as described in that policy.
If there’s an issue, contact support first. Chargebacks slow everything down for everyone, including you.
11) Intellectual property, trademarks, and your content
Our IP
The Site content, branding, logos, product templates, and other materials we own are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without permission.
Third-party IP (including user-submitted content)
If you upload, submit, or provide any content (art, logos, text, images, designs), you represent and warrant that:
you have the rights/permissions needed to use it, and
it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
We may refuse, remove, or cancel orders involving content we reasonably believe infringes rights or violates these Terms.
Magic: The Gathering and Wizards of the Coast
Magic: The Gathering and related marks are the property of their respective owners. ProxyMTG is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
12) Copyright complaints (DMCA-style process)
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with:
your physical/electronic signature,
identification of the copyrighted work,
identification of the allegedly infringing material (include the URL),
your contact information,
a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, and
a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
We may remove or disable access to the identified material and may notify the affected party.
13) User reviews, comments, and community content
If you post reviews/comments, you agree:
not to post unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content,
not to post private information about others, and
not to manipulate reviews (spam, paid undisclosed incentives, etc.).
By submitting content, you grant ProxyMTG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Site and Services (for example, showing your review on a product page). We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.
14) Prohibited use
You agree not to:
use the Site or products for deception, counterfeiting, or fraud,
attempt to bypass security or access restricted systems,
scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data without permission,
upload malware or disrupt the Site,
harass or abuse others, or
violate any applicable laws.
We may restrict or terminate access for violations.
15) Disclaimers
THE SITE, SERVICES, AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN OUR PUBLISHED POLICIES.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site, error-free operation, or that product use will be permitted by every store, group, league, or event. Proxy acceptance is a social and/or organizer policy question, not a physics constant.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROXYMTG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS/REVENUE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROXYMTG’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PROXYMTG FOR THE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions limit liability caps, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ProxyMTG (and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents) from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
your misuse of the Site or products,
your violation of these Terms,
your uploaded/submitted content, or
your infringement of any third-party rights.
18) Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Unless prohibited by law, you agree that disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
19) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
20) Miscellaneous
Severability: If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer.
Entire agreement: These Terms, plus referenced policies, are the entire agreement regarding the Site and Services.
